Rural Ontario Medical Program (ROMP)
As a participating ROMP hospital, Headwaters offers medical rotations that include clinical, social, professional and academic study.
If you are a Canadian medical learner from outside of Ontario, please directly
coordinate your learning opportunity with ROMP. Please note, there is no funding available for out-of-province study.
Once ROMP confirms your application and preceptor at Headwaters, our
Medical Administrative team helps arrange a medical rotation.
International medical learners
International medical learners are required to register with an Ontario university through ROMP. If you are a Canadian medical learner from outside of Ontario,
please contact ROMP to arrange opportunities. There is no funding available for out-of-province study or international learners.
