Ambulatory Services

Ambulatory Care service provides both medical and surgical outpatient (someone who does not stay overnight in the hospital) care. At HHCC, many of our Ambulatory Services are provided in the newly constructed Ambulatory Care department (Eva Hieny Wing).

Services include

  • Cardiac Wellness (open with limited capacity)
  • Cardiac Stress Testing (open with limited capacity)
  • Diabetes Education
  • Dialysis 
  • Infusion therapy, blood and blood products transfusion, iron transfusion, phlebotomy (open with limited capacity)
  • Laboratory Services
  • Laser clinic (open with limited capacity)
  • Minor surgical procedures (open with limited capacity)
  • Medical clinics and procedures
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Low Back Pain Clinics (open with limited capacity)  
  • Nephrology clinic 
  • Orthopaedic clinic
  • Paediatric clinic
  • Plastics clinic
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Pre-operative and anesthesia clinic (open with limited capacity virtually & in person)
  • Surgical clinic
Your appointment
Please park in the main parking area or cars can stop in the drop off area outside of the Main Hospital Entrance. 

Then please proceed to the Registration area in the main lobby (Joan and Paul Waechter Welcome Centre) to register before your appointment.

You can then proceed to the area of care. Volunteers are on duty to help guide you to the treatment area if you require assistance. 
We acknowledge that our hospital resides within the traditional territory and ancestral lands of the Tionontati, Attawandaron, Haudenosaunee, and Anishinaabe peoples.

We also acknowledge that various municipalities within the County of Dufferin reside within the treaty lands named under the Haldimand Deed of 1784 and two of the Williams Treaties of 1818: Treaty 18: the Nottawasaga Purchase, and Treaty 19: the Ajetance Treaty.

We also acknowledge the land which forms the Town of Caledon is also part of the traditional Territory of the Huron-Wendat and Haudenosaunee Peoples, and the Anishnabek of the Williams Treaties.

This land is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
